Off-roading features

The Gladiator makes it easy to head off the beaten path, with standard heavy-duty Dana® 44 axles, tow hooks and skid plates for added functionality. If your ideal off-road adventure includes water obstacles with a depth of up to 30 inches, the 2020 Gladiator should be your go-to vehicle as it is equipped with special water sealing and a high air intake.

In order to find your way when the path isn't clearly marked, you can utilize the available forward-facing TrailCam Off-Road Camera. The system provides navigation assistance and projects gridlines to help steer your journey.


Rubicon trim level

When you opt for the Rubicon trim level, you don't have to worry about any damage incurring on the vehicle's underbody since the model achieves a ground clearance of 11.1 inches. Uneven terrain is no match for the Rubicon's Segment-Exclusive Front Sway Bar Disconnect. The Rock-Track® 4x4 system also allows you to easily crawl over obstacles and take on steep inclines.

Traction isn't an issue even on the most demanding surfaces, thanks to the truck's rear and front Tru-Lok® electronic locking differentials and the steel rock rails, which help deter obstacles from damaging the frame. FOX aluminum-bodied 2-inch-diameter shocks also give you more control on different terrains.


Powerful performance

You can have all the power you need with the 3.6-liter Pentastar® V6 engine, which delivers 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. For more efficiency, the engine has Engine Stop-Start technology. When properly equipped, the 2020 Gladiator can haul up to 7,650 pounds of your favorite off-road gear.
